Die Normung im Bereich biotechnologischer Prozesse umfasst folgende Themen: <ul><li>Begriffe und Definitionen; </li><li>Biobanken und Bioressourcen; </li><li>Analysemethoden; </li><li>Bioprozesstechnik; </li><li>Datenverarbeitung einschließlich Annotation, Analyse, Validierung, Vergleichbarkeit und Integration; </li><li>Metrologie.</li></ul> ISO/TC 276 Biotechnologie wird eng mit verwandten Ausschüssen zusammenarbeiten, um Normungsbedarf und -lücken zu identifizieren und mit anderen Organisationen zu kooperieren, um Doppelarbeit und Überschneidungen bei Normungsaktivitäten zu vermeiden. Das Komitee wird keine Themen behandeln, die in den Zuständigkeitsbereich anderer TCs fallen, insbesondere nicht ISO/TC 212 und ISO/TC 34/SC 16.

Normalisation dans le domaine des procédés biotechnologiques, incluant les sujets suivants : <ul><li>Termes et définitions ; </li><li>biobanques et bioressources ; </li><li>méthodes d'analyse ; </li><li>bioprocédés ; </li><li>traitement des données, y compris l'annotation, l'analyse, la validation, la comparabilité et l'intégration ; </li><li>métrologie.</li></ul> L'ISO/TC 276 Biotechnologie travaillera en étroite collaboration avec les comités concernés afin d'identifier les besoins et les lacunes en matière de normalisation, et collaborera avec d'autres organisations pour éviter les doublons et les chevauchements d'activités de normalisation. Le comité ne traitera pas de sujets relevant du champ d'action d'autres comités techniques, notamment l'ISO/TC 212 et l'ISO/TC 34/SC 16.

Standaardisatie op het gebied van biotechnologische processen, waaronder de volgende onderwerpen: <ul><li>Termen en definities; </li><li>biobanken en biobronnen; </li><li>analytische methoden; </li><li>bioprocessing; </li><li>gegevensverwerking inclusief annotatie, analyse, validatie, vergelijkbaarheid en integratie; </li><li>metrologie.</li></ul> ISO/TC 276 Biotechnologie zal nauw samenwerken met relevante commissies om standaardisatiebehoeften en -lacunes te identificeren en met andere organisaties samen te werken om duplicaties en overlappende standaardisatieactiviteiten te voorkomen. De commissie zal zich niet bezighouden met onderwerpen die binnen het bereik van andere TC's vallen, waaronder, maar niet beperkt tot, ISO/TC 212 en ISO/TC 34/SC 16.

Standardization in the field of biotechnology processes that includes the following topics: <ul><li>Terms and definitions; </li><li>biobanks and bioresources; </li><li>analytical methods; </li><li>bioprocessing; </li><li>data processing including annotation, analysis, validation, comparability and integration; </li><li>metrology.</li></ul> ISO/TC 276 Biotechnology will work closely with related committees in order to identify standardization needs and gaps, and collaborate with other organisations to avoid duplications and overlapping standardization activities. The committee will not pursue subjects within the scope of other TCs including but not limited to ISO/TC 212 and ISO/TC 34/SC 16.
