Elaboration of standards in the field of workplace atmospheres excluding the establishment of limit values. The standards are used as references in promulgated health standards, by practitioners of occupational/industrial hygiene in workplace monitoring for compliance purposes and for health outcomes, by sampling hardware manufacturers in design and required performance of said hardware, and by researchers in the field of occupational health and industrial hygiene.

Erarbeitung von Normen im Bereich der Arbeitsplatzluftqualität ohne Festlegung von Grenzwerten. Die Normen dienen als Referenz in veröffentlichten Gesundheitsstandards, von Fachkräften der Arbeits- und Betriebshygiene bei der Arbeitsplatzüberwachung zur Überprüfung der Einhaltung von Vorschriften und der gesundheitlichen Auswirkungen, von Herstellern von Probenahmegeräten bei der Konstruktion und der geforderten Leistung dieser Geräte sowie von Forschern im Bereich der Arbeitsmedizin und Betriebshygiene.

Het opstellen van normen op het gebied van werkplekatmosferen, met uitzondering van het vaststellen van grenswaarden. De normen worden gebruikt als referentie in uitgevaardigde gezondheidsnormen, door beoefenaars van arbeidshygiëne en industriële hygiëne bij werkplekmonitoring voor nalevingsdoeleinden en gezondheidsresultaten, door hardwarefabrikanten te bemonsteren bij het ontwerp en de vereiste prestaties van deze hardware, en door onderzoekers op het gebied van arbeidshygiëne en industriële hygiëne.

Élaboration de normes dans le domaine des atmosphères de travail, à l'exclusion de l'établissement de valeurs limites. Ces normes servent de référence dans les normes de santé promulguées, aux professionnels de l'hygiène du travail et de l'industrie pour le contrôle de la conformité et l'évaluation des résultats en matière de santé, aux fabricants de matériel pour la conception et les performances requises de ce matériel, ainsi qu'aux chercheurs en santé au travail et en hygiène industrielle.
