Normalisation des aciers non revêtus destinés à la construction (ponts, bâtiments, etc.) ou à la construction mécanique d'usage général (aciers non destinés au traitement thermique par l'utilisateur), pour ce qui concerne: <ul><li>les qualités </li><li>les dimensions et les tolérances pour tôles épaisses issues de laminage réversible, larges-plats, barres et profilés</li></ul> <p>A l'exclusion: </p><ul><li>des produits plats issus d'un laminage continu </li><li>des aciers pour l'armature et la précontrainte du béton </li><li>des fils et fils machine </li><li>des profilés creux pour la constructiony</li></ul>
