<ul> <li>Normalisation des caractéristiques des revêtements métalliques protecteurs et décoratifs appliqués par électrolyse, fusion, vide ou par des moyens chimiques, dépôt mécanique, placage ionique. </li><li>Normalisation des caractéristiques des revêtements non métalliques protecteurs et décoratifs (à l'exclusion des peintures et autres revêtements organiques) sur des surfaces métalliques appliqués par électrolyse, fusion, vide ou par des moyens chimiques. </li><li>Normalisation des méthodes d'essai et d'inspection de ces revêtements. </li><li>Normalisation de la préparation des substrats avant le dépôt de revêtements métalliques et inorganiques. </li></ul>
<ul> <li>Standaardisatie van de kenmerken van beschermende en decoratieve metaalcoatings die worden aangebracht door elektrolyse, fusie, vacuüm of chemische middelen, mechanische afzetting, ionplating. </li><li>Standaardisatie van de kenmerken van beschermende en decoratieve niet-metalen coatings (met uitzondering van verven en andere organische coatings) op een metaaloppervlak die worden aangebracht door elektrolyse, fusie, vacuüm of chemische middelen. </li><li>Standaardisatie van test- en inspectiemethoden voor dergelijke coatings. </li><li>Standaardisatie van de voorbereiding van de substraten voorafgaand aan de afzetting van metaal- en anorganische coatings. </li></ul>
