Scope
<p>Standardization of terminology, requirements, interfaces, test methods and test instruments for lasers, optical components intended for use with lasers as well as for laser accessories and laser-oriented equipment.</p> <p>Excluded are horizontal laser safety standards. Standardization of electro-optical systems is included, too, in the scope of SC 9 until that field is covered by a specific sub-committee of TC 172.</p>
