Normalisation des règles constituant un code de construction contenant le choix des matériaux, la conception, la fabrication (assemblage, montage), l'installation, le contrôle et l'inspection des tuyauteries industrielles (conduites de transport et canalisations d'usine) incluant le choix des systèmes de sécurité. On entend par "canalisations d'usine": les tuyauteries ou réseaux de tuyauteries, situés dans les emprises d'un site industriel. On entend par "conduite de transport": les tuyauteries ou réseaux de tuyauteries, situés hors des emprises d'un site industriel. Sont exclus du domaine de travail du CEN/TC 267: - les conduites de transport pour eaux résiduaires ainsi que les canalisations d'usines dont l'évacuation se fait directement dans le réseau d'assainissement extérieur au site industriel et/ou dans le milieu naturel (traité au CEN/TC 165); - les conduites de transport pour les combustibles gazeux (càd tout combustible qui est à l'état gazeux à une température de 15°C sous une pression de 1 bar (traité au CEN/TC234); - les canalisations d'usine et conduites de transport d'eau potable (traité au CEN/TC 164); - les conduites de transports pour les industries du pétrole et du gaz naturel (traité au CEN/TC 12). Les limites entre les canalisations d'usines et les conduites de transport seront définies par le CEN/TC 267/GT A.
Standardization of rules constituting a design and manufacturing code comprising the choice of materials, design, fabrication, installation, inspection and testing of industrial piping and pipeline, including the choice of safety systems. The meaning of "industrial piping" is the following: Pipes or pipe networks located on the premises of an industrial site. The meaning of "pipelines" is the following: Pipes or pipe networks located outside premises of an industrial site. The following are excluded from the scope of CEN/TC 267: - Pipelines for waste water, and piping for waste water, the latter being directly evacuated via the sewer system outside of industrial premises and/or in the environment (dealt within CEN/TC 165); - Pipelines for gaseous fuels (that is to say any fuel that is in gaseous state at a temperature of 15 °C and at a pressure of 1 bar (dealt with in CEN/TC 234); - Piping and pipelines for water for human consumption (dealt with in CEN/TC 164). Pipelines for petroleum and natural gas industries (dealt with in CEN/TC 12)
