Scope
Normalisation relative à la sécurité des: (i) chaînes à maillons soudés en acier et élingues chaînes; (ii) câbles en fils d'acier, leurs terminaisons et les élingues en fil d'acier; (iii) câbles en fibre, élingues câbles en fibre, élingues textiles plates et élingues rondes; (iv) crochets et autres accessoires; utilisés en levage (le levage se définit par: soulever, abaisser, suspendre).
Standardization in terms of safety of: (i) welded round steel link chains and chain slings; (ii) steel wire ropes, their terminations and wire rope slings; (iii) fibre ropes, fibre rope slings, flat textile slings and round slings; (iv) hooks and other accessories; used for lifting (lifting includes: raising, lowering and suspending) purposes.
