This European Standard gives general recommendations for the manual, mechanized and automatic fusion welding of wrought and cast aluminium alloys and combinations therefo. For general guidelines, see EN 1011-1. In this Standard the word " pipe" alone or in combinations is used to mean " tube" or " hollow section" , although these terms are often used for different categories of product by different industries.
