Electrical installations of buildings - Part 7: Requirements for special installations and locations - Section 713: Furniture (IEC 60364-7-713:1996)
Applies to furniture connected by fixed wiring to the electricalinstallation of the building and also to the prefabricatedfurniture and furniture connected by means of a plug andsocket-outlet unless these items are the subject of other IECpublications. Electrical equipment of furniture shall be connectedto a single-phase supply < or = 240V, and the total load currentshall not exceed 16 A.
