Dieses Verfahren wurde im Ringversuch in Verbindung mit der Atomabsorptionstechnik (Flamme, Graphitrohr (ET), Hydrid, Kaltdampf) und ICP-MS geprüft. Andere Techniken wie z. B. ICP-OES, Voltammetrie oder Atomfluoreszenz können in Kombination mit dieser Europäischen Norm angewendet werden.
